NL4610 is designed specifically for use on overhead reel type exhaust system applications in diesel repair facilities. This hose is manufactured with a specially formulated rubber compound that is able to withstand intermittent temperatures up to +316°C (600°F) when used in conjunction with a fan assisted system; this hose and its adapters are NOT designed for continuous service of dry, hot exhaust, such as on a generator or high RPM (use metal ducting for such applications). For large trucks, always use a diesel stack adapter to permit intake of cool air and prevents damaging the hose. The first 20ft of this lightweight ducting incorporates a wire reinforcing to prevent kinking, while the last 5ft is our NL4600 "Crushproof" hose. Each length comes with a N4600DS-size tailpipe adapter.
