NL3451 Arctic Wingcraft is best suited for the fueling and defueling of commercial or private aircraft in low temperature environments, where a safe, reliable, hose is to be used. Wingcraft is resistant to jet fuel A & B as well as other high aromatic aviation gasoline (meets EI Bulletin 1529 Type C-CT Grade 2 and NFPA Bulletin 407 standards). Due to its high working pressure this hose can also be used in fuel cart hydrant applications. The thick cover is resistant to ozone, oils, gouging, abrasion, and weathering. NL3451 does not have an internal static wire, instead it utilizes a static dissipative/conductive wrapped cover (when fuelling airplanes, always use a separate grounding cable as per EI standards). Coupled aviation hoses must be fully certified to API standards and timelines, and all aviation hoses are recommended to be replaced and disposed of at a maximum of 10 years after manufacturing date.

Typical Fittings: N95/N96 permanent brass male scovills, tested and certified to EI 1529 standards for Aviation Fueling.

Detail Comments: Special insurance is required to cover liability arising from the certification of aviation fuel hoses. If not using for aviation fuelling, other critical application fittings like crimped-on Lockable Camlocks or permanent Swage fittings can be used.
