Malleable Iron & Cast Iron Camlocks - 261
Ductile iron and plated malleable camlocks are used in specialty applications typically involved with chemicals or abrasive products.
All types of camlocks are NOT for use with compressed air or gases. The rated working pressures of our ductile & plated malleable iron camlocks at ambient temperatures are: 1/2" to 2" sizes = 250psi, and 3"-4" = 100psi. As a guide only, ductile & plated malleable iron may be suitable for -29°C (-20°F) to +260°C (+500°F). Always confirm if gasket material is compatible with fluid & temperature.
