Food Grade Sanitary - KF Vacuum Flange - 298F
These 304SS flanges are used to connect tubing or hose to vacuum pumps or chambers. They are commonly used in Pharmaceutical, food manufacturing or the extraction industry but could be used for any other high-vacuum sanitary applications. While similar to Tri-Clamp fittings, they have a different mating surface, clamp, and seal. They are built by ISO standards and are chamfered to utilize a rubber O-ring to create a seal under vacuum. They can also be referred to as NW or QF flanges.
