Fuel hose swivels are typically used with petroleum and home heating oil hose to prevent twisting or kinks. Safety breaks separate when drivers pull away with a nozzle still in the fill tank. These will prevent fuel spills and damage to equipment. Pressure fill and vent caps are used on gravity fuel tanks to displace air or fuel. This will prevent a "vacuum" while fuel is dispensed.
