Aeroquip FD86 series quick connects allow for connection and disconnection while lines are still under pressure (up to 750 psi). They are similar in design as the 5100 Series quick connects but offer a higher working pressure and are designed for high impulse applications. They are also made of steel vs brass. The time tested tubular valve and poppets internal design provide positive fluid shut-off (check valves in both the male and female sections) and permit virtually no fluid loss upon disconnection (as well as minimal air inclusion).
