These BOP series quick connect couplings are designed specifically for high temperature hazardous BOP (Blow-Out Preventer) service in the Oil & Gas industry. The BOP designation is clearly marked on the coupler & nipple and is easily identified by its red coloured sleeve and nipple wrench flats. The couplers come standard with a sleeve lock which prevents accidental disconnection. These quick connects feature a double shut-off poppet designed to minimize spillage and meet ISO 7241-1 Series B performance and exceed all requirements for API & EUB compliance.
