High Pressure Male Insert Air Stems - 237
Hex hose stems are used for medium to high pressure air, water, or liquid service. They have a longer barb than standard brass hose barbs, which allows for more a secure clamping method. They are commonly used on short air whip hoses (3' to 10') where quick acting couplings alone do not stand up to the constant vibration and will fail prematurely. The N176 plated steel stems are rated to a maximum pressure of 150psi (depending on the clamping method). The air tool "bent stems" listed below are for use up to 90psi and are designed to reduce hose bending stress at the air tool as well as reduce operator fatigue.
