These are designed for high-pressure waterblast applications up to 10,000 psi. The safety sleeve lock guards against accidental disconnection while the smooth bore design permits greater flow while maintaining a low pressure drop. The "arc latch" design has greater surface contact area inside the coupler when attached to the nipple than the conventional ball latch. These QD's are available in either plated steel or stainless steel for added corrosion resistance, and come standard with Buna-N O-Rings (-40° to +250°F); Viton or EPDM O-Rings are also available. FD69 Series will interchange with Dixon EA, Parker WB, or Snap-Tite 56 Series, but being a critical application, caution must be taken and we recommend not interchanging critical application brands. Although we do not recommend the repair of worn, critical application products, replacement seal kits are available by brand (Buna-N O-ring and back-up ring).
