NL4875 is a quality silicone hose that meets the operating requirements of SAE J20R3 Class A heater hose (& TMP RP303B Class I, Grade 2) that will remain flexible and ageless after prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures, weather, or ozone - it will stay soft and pliable after years of use as compared to traditional rubber which will harden and crack. Silicone is not for use with oil, however it will stand up to engine oil "mist" found in normal operating conditions. When installing silicone hose, N62ET extended liner gear clamps will prevent the soft cover from tearing during service. For larger sizes, we recommend using N68SL spring loaded T-bolt clamps to maintain holding power during temperature fluctuations. Always check clamps after installation and ensure proper clamp torque ratings are followed. For retail display, this hose is available in 50ft dispensing boxes. For higher temperatures, meta-aramid reinforcement is available (NL4876-, but may be subject to 1,000ft min order qty).

Construction: Tube: Smooth silicone rubber. Cover: Smooth, blue silicone rubber. Reinforcement: High tensile nylon fibre.

Typical Fittings: N62ET extended liner gear clamps and N68SL/N75CT spring loaded T-Bolt clamps. No barbed/sharp fittings that may cut the tube.

Temperature Range: -54°C (-65°F) to +175°C (347°F); for a higher temperature hose to 500°F, NL4876 Aramid reinforcement available.
