NL4955 green stripe is a heavy duty, high pressure, high temperature radiator hose (or in the smaller sizes it is commonly used as a heavy duty heater hose) that is suitable for machinery, automobiles, and marine engines. It is also used for marine wet exhaust and other applications where a safe, reliable hose is required. It has excellent resistance to heat, abrasion, weathering, ozone, and antifreeze. It is resistant to oil mist present in normal operating conditions, however it is NOT designed for transferring oil - for a high-temperature oil line see our FC332-, NL515-, or other oil resistant hoses. Due to its high working pressures (200 psi for all sizes to 5-1/2", 800 psi burst), this hose can also be used as a heavy duty water discharge hose. NL4955 exceeds SAE 20R1HW specifications.

Construction: Tube: Smooth, black EPDM. Cover: Wrapped, black EPDM with a green stripe. Reinforcement: Four plies of synthetic fabric (6 plies for sizes 6-5/8" and up).

Typical Fittings: N68 T-bolt clamps, N73/N75/N77 Mikalor clamps.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +107°C (225°F); Intermittent: +116°C (240°F).

Detail Comments: In order for the hose ID to stay round for installation, sizes over 2.5" typically need to be manufactured in short, straight lengths and cannot be rolled. Longer lengths are available up to 100ft, however the softwall may be kinked or flattened upon rolling or shipping.
