NL4920 preformed silicone elbows are suitable for heater and coolant applications where tight bends are required without kinking. During installation, the 6" legs can easily be cut to length with a knife. They will remain soft and ageless after prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures, weather, or ozone. Silicone rubber is not for use with oil, however it will stand up to engine oil "mist" found in normal operating conditions. They meet SAE 20R1 Class A (Custom Wall) requirements. When installing silicone hose, N62ET extended liner gear clamps will prevent the soft cover from tearing during clamping/use. For larger sizes, use N68SL/N75CT spring loaded T-bolt clamps to maintain holding power as the hose is subject to temperature fluctuations. Always check clamps at intervals and follow proper clamp torque ratings.

Construction: Tube: Smooth silicone rubber. Cover: Blue silicone rubber. Reinforcement: Three plies of Aramid fibre.

Typical Fittings: N62ET extended liner gear clamps and N68SL/N75CT spring loaded T-Bolt clamps. No barbed/sharp fittings that may cut the tube.

Temperature Range: -54°C (-65°F) to +260°C (500°F)
