NL6100 is an accordion-style ducting commonly used by utility companies for supplying air to manholes, confined spaces, or worksites. lt is also used for heating, drying, cooling, and ventilation in permanent or portable systems (not recommended for negative pressure/vacuum). This hose has an external wear strip to help prevent premature wire wear through. Its crush-resistant helix has a wide pitch for easy compressibility (10:1). It has a UL94V-0 flame retardent rating (self extinguishing) and is resistant to moisture and UV/ozone. This hose is available with belted ends, slip J-Locks, wire ring ends (plain), button locks, or a soft cuff. Popular lengths are listed below and others are available, including other colours (NL6100W white, NL6100B black, NL6100G green, etc).
Construction: Yellow, medium weight, one-ply polyester neoprene laminate fabric (with a black external wear strip) sewn around a steel wire.
Typical Fittings: Built on Belt Straps, Slip J-Lock, Button Locks (which do not interchange).
Temperature Range: -29°C (-20°F) to +85°C (185°F); Intermittent to +107°C (225°F). For higher temp refer to our NL660x/NL661x series.
