This is a forestry fire protection hose specifically designed with a lightweight urethane tube and higher tensile polyester for users who specify a 300psi working pressure, but do not want the added weight and protection of a double jacket hose. Its construction meets Spec 187 (USDA FSS 5100-187 type 2). Due to its single wall, we do NOT recommend this hose be used for washdown, construction, rental, mill service or in plant applications. For washdown service we recommend using a heavy duty water discharge hose or a fire hose with heavier properties (such as NL2005 Black, NL9750 Red, or NL9770/NL9775 Double Jacket).

Construction: Tube: Clear, green urethane. Jacket: NL9723 Hi-visibility, yellow, single-jacket, 100% filament polyester weave with a special abrasion and moisture resistant treatment/coating.

Typical Fittings: N9701/9702 hardcoat aluminum or brass expansion couplings, N9721 aluminum instantaneous forestry expansion couplings.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +70°C (158°F)
