FC254 is an ultra-high pressure, high temperature, four-spiral heavy steel wire reinforced hose that is used for higher pressures than SAE100R12, up to 7700 psi (depending on size). Being a "Triple Crown" product, it is manufactured with advanced technology & superior rubber compounds allowing for increased pressure ratings, greater temperature range & better abrasion resistance as compared to other SAE100R11 hoses - making it truly a longer lasting product. Its cover is abrasion, oil, and weather resistant. FC254 meets MSHA flame resistance, USCG/MMT SAE J1942 (contact New-Line for exact approvals), DNV, and ABS requirements.

Construction: Tube: Black seamless, oil resistant synthetic rubber. Cover: DURA-TUFF black, high quality, oil, abrasion and weather resistant synthetic rubber. Reinforcement: Four heavy spirals of high tensile steel wire.

Typical Fittings: This is a CRITICAL PRESSURE HOSE, follow assembly procedures carefully. 4S series permanent crimp for all sizes except 1/2" which uses Internal Skive crimp fittings, contact customer service for further details.
