FC500 is manufactured with the latest technologies, advanced materials and compounds which permits a dramatic improvement in flexibility, durability and pressure rating. In fact, FC500 exceeds SAE100R13 heavy spiral high pressures at the 1/2 the bend radius & 46% lower 'Force-To-Bend'. This hose also utilizes 4S series TTC crimp fittings (in all sizes up to -24) permitting for less inventory of duplicate end configurations. FC500 incorporates multiple heavy spiral steel wires for severe pressure or high impulse hydraulic service in drilling, construction, mining, or forestry applications. FC500 will handle petroleum based hydraulic fluids, water, gasoline, diesel, and lubricating oils. Its DURA-TUFF cover is resistant to abrasion, oil, and weathering. FC500 meets MSHA flame resistance specifications and exceeds SAE100R13 requirements at half the bend radius.

Construction: Tube: Black seamless, oil resistant synthetic rubber. Cover: DURA-TUFF black, high quality, oil, abrasion and weather resistant synthetic rubber. Reinforcement: -12 to -24 have four heavy spiraled layers and -32 has six heavy spiraled layers of high tensile steel wire.

Typical Fittings: This is a CRITICAL PRESSURE HOSE, follow assembly procedures carefully. 4S series permanent crimp for sizes -12 to -24, 6S series permanent crimp for -32 size.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +127°C (261°F)
