1503 is a standard SAE100R5 hose designed for high temperature (up to 121°C (250°F)), medium pressure hydraulic, air, water, gasoline, or oil service. It is most commonly used in commercial vehicle applications for air brake (meets DOT FMVSS-106), oil filtration, coolant lines, and power steering on industrial off-road (non-highway) equipment. The external fabric braided cover permits heat loss, but it is not designed to withstand abrasion. This hose meets DOT 106 Type A2, USCG/MMT, DNV, AAMVA, SAEJ1402, and SAE100R5 requirements.

Construction: Tube: Black seamless, oil & heat resistant synthetic rubber. Cover: Black rubber impregnated with oil and weather resistant textile. Reinforcement: One textile braid & one single wire braid.

Typical Fittings: N650xx or Aeroquip R5 field attachables, Aeroquip crimp ends with special dies. Special Note: Be aware of DOT knock off, economical couplings that are simply "stamped" with DOT markings and have not been through any form of certified DOT testing.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +121°C (250°F). Air not to exceed +71°C (+160°F).

Warning: If for DOT Air Brake use, Assembler Must Register with DOT
