NL500 Series Push-On is an industrial-grade multipurpose problem solver! It is a versatile, flexible, textile reinforced hose for a variety of applications including air/pneumatics, low pressure hydraulics, robotics, process fluid transfer, hot/cold water washdown and is commonly seen in shops, plants, and on various types of equipment (not food grade). It has an oil resistant, blended nitrile rubber tube and cover which will handle lubricating oils, oil-based fluids, certain chemicals (check chemical compatibility), and works well in oily/greasy environments. It is not recommended for conveying gasoline or diesel fluids, refer to actual SAE/USCG approved fuel lines. When used with the recommended, convenient to use Push-On fittings, Push-on hose offers quick and easy field assembly where no assembly equipment or clamps are needed (maximum 250-300 psi); using clamps or ferrules with Push-On fittings can lead to premature failure. It is stocked in various colours for ease of colour coding: standard Black (NL505), Grey (NL506), Blue (NL509), Yellow (NL507), or Red (NL508). This hose is non-conductive with a minimum electrical resistance greater than 1 megohm per inch of hose length at 1000 volts DC. Most sizes and colours are MSHA approved.

Construction: Tube: Black Nitrile rubber blend (Class A). Cover: Nitrile rubber blend (Class B). Reinforcement: Synthetic textile (specially angled for push-on fittings).

Typical Fittings: Brass or stainless "Push-On fittings" which are specifically designed for use on "Push-On" hoses up to 300 psi (do not use on any other type of hose). When used with Push-On hose, the defined barb on the fitting and the special hose reinforcement will provide sufficient grip thereby eliminating the need for any hose clamps.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +100°C (212°F); WATER max +85°C (+185°F); AIR max +70°C (+158°F).
