Typical metal hoses are not designed for use in applications subject to abuse or dragging (exception being those metal hoses that are covered with special armour). They are a reliable option for short jumpers in corrosive, hot, permanent type applications.

This is a specialty hose used to monitor applications where flow must be cut off if the operator leaves or in the event of an emergency.
