NL2247 ContiTech Sani-Wash Supreme is for use in 'non-oily' food processing plants, dairies, packing houses, bottling plants, breweries, canneries, and creameries (not for use with air). It is similar to our NL2245, but this NL2247 version has the added benefits of a white FDA compliant EPDM tube which can transfer potable water and food products (unlike the black tube of our NL2245). Note: This hose is made of EPDM rubber compounds (tube and cover) that may not be suitable for use with certain cleaning chemicals, solvents, detergents or sanitizers; such solutions can have an adverse effect on the hose, resulting in reduced service life or failure. Ensure compatibility by referring to the manufacturer's chemical resistance chart. Inspect the hose before each use. External bend restrictors typically not used due to possibility of bacteria build up.

Typical Fittings: N400L long Brass Barbs (higher temp/PSI), N511/512 Long shank brass GHT ends, N2280 stainless hose swivels, stainless crimp sleeves, punch clamps. For HOT water applications long shank/long barb fittings are required. If using cleaning chemicals or sanitizers, always confirm if they are compatible with the nitrile rubber compounds of this hose. External bend restrictors typically not used due to possibility of bacteria build up.
