Loctite 565 is designed for tapered or straight pipe threads up to 2" pipe size for water, air (NOT air breathing, refer to Loctite 545), gas, petroleum based fluids, various chemicals, or food grade products (NSF/ANSI 61 approved & CFIA listed). It is also is CSA 3319-81 & 3319-01, UL MH007(N), ULC-Canada and Agricultural Canada approved for use in natural gas, methane, gasoline, petroleum, oils, and propane and butane applications (NOT for use with plastics or non-metallic fittings). Loctite 565 PST has a temperature range of -51°C (-60°F) to +149°C (300°F) with a maximum pressure rating of 10,000psi. It can also be used with aluminum to reduce the possibility of seizing.
