Our coalescing filters are specifically designed to remove very fine particles from air lines (i.e. .01 micron). They are typically placed before pneumatic gauging equipment, blow guns, cleaning electronics, paint spraying, or for air bearings. The filter element maintains its high oil removal efficiency even if it is saturated in oil. For maximum service life install a general purpose filter (ie. N30xx listed above) upstream to remove particles and most water. The polycarbonate bowls are recommended for 150 psi and 65°C (150°F) while the metal bowls are for 250 psi and 79°C (175°F).
