These are used in similar applications as the N14200 backflow valves, but have an internal pressure reducer valve for containment at the service line entrance and are typically used in "health hazard" applications. The 3/4" - 2" are portable units (max 175 psi) that are furnished with ball type test cocks and quarter turn, full port bronze ball valves. The 2-1/2" - 10" are much larger units with flanged gate valves, designed for permanent installation. Backflows for permanent installations must be installed by a certified pipefitter. Always check with local water authorities for installation requirements & regulations. We can also arrange for certification when it is ready for installation (TBACK-200).
