Typically the 0-Degree is a "blasting nozzle" that delivers a concentrated stream of water for removing stubborn or hard to reach marks or materials. The 15-Degree is a "chiseling nozzle" for hard surfaces like concrete. The spray should be directed at a 45° angle to the surface and used like a scraper to remove paint, grease and dirt. The 25-Degree is a "flushing nozzle" which is best suited for flushing dirt, mud and grime from more fragile areas or bare wood. The 40-Degree is a "wash nozzle" with a wide spray pattern for rinsing and moderate washing of more fragile surfaces, painted surfaces, equipment, vehicles, etc.
