Below lists recommended nozzles and projectile sizes for hose, tubing, and JIC. Specifications for pipe, metric tubing, other thread styles and wall thicknesses are available upon request.
When confronted with a hose, tube or pipe I.D. that does not appear on our sizing charts, please follow the steps listed below:
1. Determine the I.D. of hose, tube or pipe in a fractional inch and convert to a decimal:
EXAMPLE: (3/4" = .750)
2. There are 25.4mm in 1". Multiply 25.4 by the decimal from step #1. This will give you the I.D. of the hose, tube or pipe in millimetres:
EXAMPLE: (25.4 x .750 = 19.05)
3. If the hose, tube or pipe being cleaned has an I.D. of 2" or less, multiply the number from step #2 by
120%
EXAMPLE: (19.05 x 1.20 = 22.86)
--OR--
If the hose, tube or pipe being cleaned has an I.D. greater than 2", multiply the number from step #2 by 110%
4. Choose the projectile. The projectile chosen should be the next closest match to the final calculation. (Always round-up).
EXAMPLE: (22.86 = C26)
