Brass SAE 45° fittings are designed for use on copper, brass, aluminum or steel tubing. They are most commonly used for fuel equipment, plumbing, gases, refrigeration and vacuum lines. Flare fittings are easy to disassemble and can be reassembled many times with no effect on the seal. See diagram K.1 for more information.

Temperature Range: -54°C (-65°F) to +66°C (+250°F)

How to assemble:

1) Cut smooth, square end on copper, brass, aluminum or steel tubing.

2) Slide nut onto tube - threads facing towards end of tube.

3) Flare end of tubing.

4) Thread nut to body until snug, then tighten 1/ 6th of a turn - do NOT overtighten.
